The Pillows - Blues Drive Monster
This song is from the group whose US fame (small as it is) comes from the anime FLCL, aka Furi Kuri. Furi Kuri is about a boy who meets an alien with strange intentions, and ever since he met her, various things have been coming out of his forehead. There's a Mecha Mechanica factory at the opposite side of town which ties into everything somehow. Anyway, it's a great anime series and it's worth watching whether you watch it for the soundtrack or the visual weirdness of it all. This months mp3 debuted in episode 5 (the series has 6 episodes) during the battle scene between Haruko and a giant hand(?!). :)
